Christmas Family Pictures

I was excited to take Christmas pictures this year and we scheduled them right after Kaede's nap so he would be in a great mood....well the photographer had to reschedule and was only availiable right in the middle of nap time...needless to say it was interesting but we got some good photos!

Kaede was a trooper, it was actually cold in Corpus the day we were taking pictures and to add the cold wind and water...Kaede was a popsicle but Daddy kept him warm!

Hanging out at home!

Since Kaede was only a few days old by Christmas last year we didn't worry about the Christmas tree so we had a big real one...HOWEVER! This year was a different story! Kaede thinks anything that is round is a ball so I figured our Christmas ornaments would be pulled off right and left. So I decided to get a small fake tree and put it on our dining room table! Best idea yet! When we would go to someones house that had Christmas ornaments he could reach you better believe they were quickly taken off the tree! Notice barely any ornaments on the tree behind Kaede ... that would be because by time I got a picture of him looking at me and not interested in the tree he had pulled most of them off!
Knox came to hang out with us! Kaede has so much fun playing with Knox.. on this day he was showing Knox his new trick!

When Kaede goes off to play in his room and is quiet for too long I know exactly what he is doing! Sometimes he has problems reaching his toys so he does it the easy way and climbs into the toy box!

Success!!!

Yay! Knox made it too! Yep both these boys climbed into the toy box on their own! Kaede does this often and can sit in his toy box and play for a long time.... when he is ready to get out he will just holler for me to take him out!

Last Days in San Antonio

While we were in San Antonio we stopped at The River Center to do some shopping. Since it was now Christmas time we had the pleasure to view all of the beautiful Christmas lights.
While at the River Center we took a boat tour ride around the River Walk. I had never done it before (at least not that I can remember) and it was very interesting to learn things about the surrounding area of the River Walk.

We also stopped by my Grandparents house so that Kaede could visit his Great Grandparents and family!

San Antonio!!

We got to San Antonio in time to visit with Grandma, Uncle Marc and Aunt Michelle for a bit before they had to head back to Corpus. The following day we had plans to go to the San Antonio Zoo and Great Aunt Rosa joined us too!

Kaede was not interested in cracking a smile at all!!

Mr. Beans was lucky enough to join us at the zoo (since he goes basically everywhere with us lately!)

Daddy loved showing Kaede new things that he had never seen before, there were some pretty cool frogs that were bright colors.

He really enjoyed watching all the Coy fish and ducks in the pond. I was going to let him throw some food down to them but he wanted to eat it instead!

After seeing half of the zoo, by time we got to all the big animals that I thought he would enjoy watching he fell asleep big time! Nothing would wake him up....until we were walking to the exit gate!

The next day I took him back so I could take pictures of him at Breckenridge Park and take him for a train ride. He sat like such a big boy during the train ride and loved it.

Aquarium Visit

Kaede really enjoys animals and basically anthing that moves! (What kid doesn't). We had the opportunity to join Anna and Knox at the Aquarium before Thanksgiving and we were excited to go! Kaede had so much fun watching the fish swim in the huge tanks. The turtles definately got some smiles out of him!

Knox and Kaede were fascinated by the Alligator, or maybe they were just excited to finally get out of the strollers for a while!

All in all it was a great day at the Texas State Aquarium!

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! I had so much fun making Kaede's Thanksgiving turkey shirt with his handprints!

While my mom and I finished up cooking dinner the boys were ready to watch the Cowboys game!!
Mmmm.. Kaede enjoyed eating his ham and corn!

Once we ate dinner it was time to pack so we would be ready first thing in the morning to head to San Antonio for the weekend. Kaede was more interested in unpacking everything and sitting in the suitcase! But I always love his help!
