Fresh Air

This summer it has either been beyond hot or raining outside so there hasn't been much time for fresh air. There was a cool breeze outside so Mommy did not pass up the opportunity to take you out to play! You enjoyed playing with your toys and being able to look at new things outside.
Since you really started teething you don't go anywhere without at least two passy's (one in your mouth and a spare). You have figured out how to put one in your mouth by yourself so nowadays you never pass the opportunity for a passy!
(hhhmmmm which one???!!!)
You kept hearing birds but could not figure out where the noise was coming from!

Teeth

Although you have had two bottom teeth for about a month you have made sure Mommy can't get a picture of them! You open your mouth when Mommy takes the camera out and right when she clicks you close your mouth and laugh!! Right before these two teeth broke the surface of your gums your gums were hurting bad! You wanted anything to chew on and preferred something cold. At night Mommy put Orajel and sometimes even had to put more on during the night to ease your pain. Mommy was so excited when she noticed your two teeth...she was sitting in the waiting room with you at your 6 month doctors appointment when you went to chew on her fingers and instead of "chew" you bit her with your little sharp teeth!! You enjoy brushing them everynight before bed and even do a little extra chewing on your toothbrush!
(If you look closely you can see them!!)

Computers, Computers, Computers

You have a recent obsession with computers. Aunt Jennie was on the computer a few days ago, ever since you and Mommy sat down you had been keeping and eye on the computer, once she left the room it only took you that one second to scoot on over to her computer and start hitting the keys!
You have been starting to do the army crawl and to get up on your knees, plop down and do it again to get places but once Mommy put her computer on the floor you scooted over to it quickly! Luckily Mommy had her old laptop that still turned on just had a broken screen and you absolutely loved it!

Mommy enjoyed watching you scoot over to her computer you were so excited and determined to get to it! Once you got to it you enjoyed banging on the keys.

Hooks Game

Daddy was given some baseball tickets, since it was his day off Mommy and Daddy were excited to take you to the baseball game. Grandpop had just given you a baseball that was a little softer than a normal ball so Mommy decided to take it for you to play with! However, she didn't think about you dropping it. You recently realized that you can throw things so you certainly didn't pass up the opportunity to throw the ball down the stairs! You enjoyed sitting in the seat by yourself but you weren't quite heavy enough to hold the chair down yet!

You were determined to stand to watch the game, although you couldn't really see over the chair you enjoyed standing.
You, Mommy and Daddy had a blast at the game and look forward to going again soon!!

Standing Up!

Gramy set you down in your bed to play for a while and when she went in to check on you she found you standing up, plopping down to the sitting position and then standing up again! Once you find something that you are capable of doing you are determined to do it all the time. Although you can't sit up on your own yet and can only pull yourself up when you are sititng, that night Mommy lowered the mattress in your bed just to be on the safe side!

Happy 4th of July

Gramy found a light up stick for you to play with for the 4th of July, little did Mommy and Daddy know that it would be your favorite toy. You wouldn't let go of the stick or go anywhere without it for quite some time. You still play with it to this day but the lights work whenever they decide to work now. You had a play date for the 4th of July at the beach. But before you headed out to the beach Daddy wanted to stop by Grandpop's house to wish him a Happy 4th of July. You enjoy Grandpop's company and love all the crazy sounds he makes to make you laugh!
After visiting Grandpop for a bit Mommy and Daddy headed out to the beach to meet up with some friends to celebrate. This was your first time at the beach a were a little unsure of the water making so much noise and the sand that you later decided was cool to eat!

Once Mommy and Daddy found our friends out at the CROWDED beach everyone had a great time! You and Lola had fun playing in the sand (and eating the sand). Lola let you borrow her cool star sunglasses so you were nice enough to let her play with your glow stick!
After Lola's daddy cooked some hamburgers on the grill it was time to relax for a while and enjoy the sunset on the beach before the fireworks started. Mommy took you out to let you see the water for the first time and it absolutely scared you.
Mommy was worried about your reaction of the fireworks becasue somethings that are loud really startle you. However, once the fireworks started shooting off of the Lexington you didn't even notice but once Mommy pointed them out to you they had your attention for the whole show!

Upper Respiratory Infection

While in San Antonio on Daddy's vacation you got a runny nose and were coughing a lot. Mommy went to the pharmacy to get you some medicine to hold you over until you got back to Corpus. The day after you got back to Corpus Mommy and Daddy took you to the doctor and she said you had an Upper Respiratory Infection. She gave you some medicine and you stayed away from everyone for the next week. The following week you were much better but sounded like you had a rattle in your chest. Mommy took you back to the doctor and they put you on a breathing treatment. The doctor said you weren't contagious but you had a little bit of congestion and Albuterol would clear it up. Needless to say for the next 3 days you had to take a breathing treatment every 5 hours.
At first you were not fond of it at all and wouldn't let Mommy hold the mask to your face. Although she didn't want to strap it to your face because she was afraid you would pop yourself with the mask, you actually left it alone.
After the first treatment Mommy decided to distract you with your toys and that seemed to work a lot better. By day 2 of the breathing treatment you were a pro at sitting there and playing without messing with the mask at all!

4th of July Playdate

You had a play date picnic for the 4th of July with your friends, since it was raining all week the picnic was moved to inside. Everyone was decked out in their red, white, and blue! Since most of the babies are on the move now it was defiantly a task to get a picture of everyone, only a few of your friends sat still long enough to get a quick picture!

Matching Jordans

Ever since Mommy found out she was pregnant Daddy has always been excited and talking about buying shoes, shoes and more shoes! Daddy is a 100% shoe fanatic. You wore your first pair of Jordans a lot but they didn't fit you for long. However, Daddy bought some new shoes and when he found the matching pair in your size he didn't pass up the opportunity to buy them!

Happy Father's Day

Father's Day was a great day, you fill Daddy's day with a great amout of joy and laughter! About a week before Father's Day Mommy, Daddy and you had a playdate with your friends at a pottery crafts center and made a clay heart with your footprint.
You were very interested in helping Daddy paint the heart.

The final product!

Happy Birthday

Athough you were very intrigued by the birthday balloon rolling around on the floor you were a great help to Mommy decorating for Daddy's birthday. You stayed with Grammy for the night so that Mommy and Daddy could go out alone to dinner and have some quiet time. According to Grammy you two enjoyed each others company and you were very good for her! :)
Mommy treated Daddy to dinner at the Republic of Texas, they enjoyed a great view, great food and wine and more importantly enjoyed each others company.

The next day Grandma, Uncle Marc, Aunt Michelle, Mommy, Daddy and you went out to eat at the Outback to eat for Daddy's birthday.

Memorial Day

Daddy had to work on Memorial Day so Aunt Jennie and Mommy took you down to the new water park downtown. It is shallow all over so it was perfect for you to be able to play in. You always love water, you recently started sitting by yourself so you loved sitting in the water playing even more!
After you dried off from playing in the water Aunt Jennie and Mommy took you down to Heritage Park and took lots of pictures of you!!!

You love to be thrown up in the air! Mommy and Daddy get the biggest laughs out of you!

Wing Stop

You, Aunt Jennie, and Mommy went to eat dinner at Wing Stop and you were beyond determined to eat some french fries! You sucked all the seasoning off since you had no teeth.
