Pumpkin Patch with Mommy and Daddy

Kaede was unsure about the pumpkin patch and even more unsure about his Halloween costume. But we didn't want to miss the opportunity to take him to the pumpkin patch as a family. Kaede was more interested in trying to pull the pumpkins to the ground! Kaede doesn't like anything on his head so he couldn't decide if he like his costume (although he would forget about the head piece if you distracted him long enough) but he still decided he didn't want to smile.
Yay finally a smile!

Cole Park

Kaede had a blast at Cole Park! He loved that Daddy was swinging him high in the air. I'm not sure who had more fun, Tony or Kaede! :)

We walked down the pier after playing for a while! Kaede really enjoyed being high on Daddy's shoulders.

Pumpkin Patch Playdate

We had a playdate at a local church with a small petting zoo and lots of pumpkins to choose from! "Daddy's little monster" Happy Fall!!
Kaede really enjoyed petting the goat.
Knox was showing Kaede how to stand while using the pumpkin for support!

He was very interested in this white pumkin and the bumps on it!

We Moved!

Mommy and Daddy decided it was time to move out of Grammy's house and have a place of our own! After much searching we found the perfect apartment for perfect apartment for all 3 of us.
This is the renovated hall bathroom!

The master bedroom!

The Living Room. Kaede loves the mirror doors for the laundry room!

Cowboys vs. Bears

Daddy REALLY wanted to go to the home opener of the Dallas Cowboys game, he was fortunate enough to get the weekend off and get tickets. Daddy had to work Friday night so as soon as he got off we started our 8 hour journey! We ended up arriving in Dallas around 5 in the morning with just enough time to get a hotel room and take a cat nap before the game which started at noon!
You were pretty excited to see all of the new surroundings and had a blast during the whole game until the end of the 4th quarter when you fell asleep!
You took a very good nap in the BabyHawk! Even with all the noise and screaming in the stadium.
Once the game was over we headed to San Antonio where we spent the night to take a break of being in the car. We went to North Star Mall and did a little shopping.
We got home just in time to watch Monday Night Football!

When it rains it pours

A lot of Corpus Christi had a substainal amount of rain all at one and parts flooded. Grammys driveway and street floods almost everytime it rains. SO, what a perfect opportunity to go out and play in the water!

Coth Diapers!

After several months of thought Mommy finally decided to try out cloth diapers so she ordered several Bum Genius diapers and ended up liking them and you liked them as well! After deciding that Mommy wanted to permenately use cloth diapers (there are many benefits, they are good for you, they grow with you until you are potty trained and they save money!) Mommy decided to order more to have plenty for you to use. Mommy has a good friend who started selling Rumparooz thru "Whatever Lola Wants" so she got lots of bright colors and patterns for you to use!
The cloth diapers ended up being a great investment!

Mommy's 22nd Birthday! - July 28

You spent the day hanging out with Grammy. She took you to the library for story time, shopping and wore you out with lots of playing! Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Jennie and Nyika went to lunch together and then FunTrackers to be kids again!

Later in the evening everyone went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse to continue to celebrate Mommy's birthday.

Grammy was nice enough to even watch you into the night so Mommy could go out and finish the night by celebrating her birthday!

Party, Party, Party!

Many of your friends are turning one! Saturday, July 24th was a day filled with fun! You had two birthay parties.
The first party you attended was Alex's 1st birthday! You have known Alex for a few months, your met him in your playgroup, he was one of the first ones to turn one! Lots of babies, Moms, and Dads had fun at Alex's 1st birthday party.
Later in the day it was time for Knox's party. Knox only lives a few houses down so you and Mommy walked down the street to enjoy the party!
Happy 1st Birthday Knox!
Knox's mom Anna made owl cupcakes! How cool! Needless to say you enjoyed eating them right up!
All that was left of the cupcake was the little bit of iceing that was left on your face.
Knox loves wheels, he got some cars for his birthday and was kind enough to let you play with some while he finished opening presents!
