Kaede is ONE!!!!

Ok! I am finally posting Kaede's Birthday pictures. We have been so busy and there were tons of pictures to sort thru!! There are tons of pictures and even more that I didn't upload! Although Kaede's birthday is December 22nd we decided to have his party in the New Year after all the holidays! SO Enjoy!........

I had awesome help getting Kaede's birthday party together! I don't know if I could have pulled it all together without Jennie and Lynda!

Lynda had a great idea to make a tree with monkeys hanging off it and it turned out wonderful! Jennie and I made last minute monkey cupcakes to put finishing touches around the cake!

I made mini candy wrappers with fun facts about monkeys for all the tables!
The wonderful monkey tree!
Each table had a different centerpiece filled with all types of candy and decorations.
I made a timeline of every month of Kaede's 1st year.

Goodie bags to take home!!
THE BIRTHDAY BOY!!
A lot of Kaede's friends were able to make the party!
Jennie, Grandma Marge, and Lyda!
Grammy was pretty excited about Kaede's birthday too!
Cake time! -- Kaede wasn't too sure why everyone was singing!

But once he got to dig into the cake everything was much better!

Grandma!
He was very excited to share his cake with anyone that would come over to him!

Grandpop and Mz. Honey! Kaede was very excited to see what presents he got for his birthday! I would have to say that this spinning toy is one of his favorite toys! As much as Kaede LOVES books, this one topped it all! Not only was it a big book with lots of pictures, Elmo and friends talk and singing while you read it!!
Arden had to test out Kaede's new Elmo chair!

Clean up time!
Jennie was an abosule blessing! She helped me from planning the party, setting up, and cleaning up! Kaede of course had to help Aunt Jennie sweep!

Until he found the balloons!
Kaede had an amzing first birthday party! Thank you everyone who made it and helped Kaede have a great 1st Birthday!

Thank you Anna and Jennie for taking all the pictures, and Lynda and Jennie for all the preperation and setting up!

Cirucs Time!!!

The Shriner Circus came into town and I was excited to take Kaede. The opening night we could sit anywhere so we got pretty close seats! Kaede did great at the circus and enjoyed just about every minute of it!
At intermission we were able to go around and meet clowns! Kaede wasn't too sure about them!
Aunt Jennie was able to join us at the cirucus and we had a blast! After seeing a few clowns Kaede started to warm up to them but still wouldn't take a decent picture with them!

After the show we got to ride an elephant!!! It was so much fun! Kaede held on tight. It was so interesting how these huge animals can be so calm. Kaede got to feel the elephant too but he quickly pulled his hand back becasue the elephant felt spikey!!
By the end of the night Kaede was full of Cotton Candy and Animal Crackers!!
